1. What's Changing? 

Starting August 31, carriers in the U.S. are blocking texts that aren't approved by them. It’s a process called A2P verification. Because many businesses are rushing to get approved, the wait is kinda long.

2. Our Solution: 

To ensure you don't miss any texts, we're setting up a Toll-Free texting number for every U.S. account. These numbers use a different, quicker approval system. You won’t see this change on your dashboard yet, but know we're handling it.

3. What's the Toll-Free Number For?

 It's a temporary number we'll use while waiting for the main texting number to get approved. If you get texts to your old number, they'll still show up in your Chekkit Dashboard – so, no worries!

4. How Does This Affect You?

It is important to remember this change will only affect you if there is any issues or delays with your A2P registration, to ensure messages are not missed:

• If you’re using a Hosted Landline: The Toll-Free number is just for now. Once your main number is approved, we can switch back. If you prefer the Toll-Free number, that's cool too.
• If you got your texting number from us: Again, the Toll-Free number is temporary. After your main number is approved, we can return to using that. Or, you can stick with the Toll-Free one if you like it more.
• For New Clients: We’ll start you with the Toll-Free texting number. If you want a different number later, we can sort that out.
